I've always been fascinated by the forms, scenes, and often beauty, underlying our everyday lives, that we take for granted.
I try to capture this by abstracting scenes, objects, and textures and reproducing them so the viewer's imagination can fill in the context, feeling and tone. I've been told, "Though what is in the frame carries it's own story and aesthetic, it's what I imagine out of the frame that's captivating."
My intent is to create images in a way that enables the viewer to connect them to their own spaces - where they spend their time and how they wish to augment their lives and their things. When you the viewer have that connection, that is where the joy in this comes for me.
